Client Rights & Grievance Process

At Woodhaven, every individual has the right to be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness throughout their recovery journey. Upon admission, each client receives a Welcome Manual outlining their rights and the procedures in place to protect those rights.

Your Voice Matters

We believe in transparency, safety, and accountability. That’s why we provide clear channels for any client to express concerns or file a formal grievance if they believe their rights have been violated in any way, whether related to staff conduct, treatment, facility policies, or other issues.

What Is A Grievance

A grievance is a written complaint regarding a potential violation of any of the 21 Client Rights protected by Woodhaven. This can be filed by the client or someone acting on their behalf.

How To File A Grievance

Clients can access grievance forms throughout the facility and receive assistance from our Client Rights Officer. All grievances are handled confidentially, respectfully, and without retaliation.
