  • How long does a residential program last?

    A residential program lasts until you are medically cleared from withdrawal management.

  • When can I make a phone call?

    Phone calls can be made on a needs basis and at scheduled times during the week.

  • How does visitation work?

    Visitation happens after the client has completed 30 days in treatment. Clients can notify their families when they meet the requirements for visits.

  • Can I use tobacco while in treatment?

    Yes, Woodhaven allows our clients to smoke during designated smoke times. We do have smoke rooms on the floors that clients have access to at scheduled times throughout the day. Electronic devices are allowed, but times still follow for use.

  • How long will I be in Withdrawal Management?

    Clients are assessed several times daily and consistently monitored by medical staff until the client is cleared by the medical department from withdrawal management.

  • What if I have a court date to attend while in treatment?

    Woodhaven does not facilitate transportation to upcoming court date(s), essential medical appointments, mental health appointments, or any other outside appointment in most cases. If Approved by Management Team and/or President, Woodhaven will facilitate transportation to necessary follow-up appointments. In cases where appointments are approved, this will be communicated and/or facilitated by appropriate staff. Approval will be contingent on program compliance. Client should work to obtain a continuance and/or reschedule appointments prior to admission. Woodhaven Staff will work with the client to obtain continuance, if necessary. If client makes decision to attend court date(s), medical, mental health, or any other outside appointment, he/she will be voluntarily discharged from program at that time. 

  • Does Woodhaven provide transportation?

    We offer transportation services for Woodhaven Admissions throughout the greater Cincinnati tristate area.

  • What type of insurance does Woodhaven accept?

    We take all Ohio Medicaid managed care plans and self-pay options.

  • Luggage, duffle bags, book bags, and purses
  • Comforters
  • Battery Operated Devices (must be rechargeable)
  • Cash (cash can be added to your spend account here, but no physical cash is permitted)

What to Bring to Rehab?

Items that are allowed must be in plastic trash bags when you arrive.

Items that are allowed, include:

  • 6 tops
  • 6 bottoms
  • 6 pairs of underwear
  • 6 pairs of socks
  • 7 outfits total, including what the client is wearing)
  • 2 sets of pajamas
  • 2 sweatshirts/hoodies
  • 1 mesh laundry bag
  • 1 pillow with case
  • 1 blanket (not comforter)
  • 1 washcloth
  • 1 towel
  • 2 pair of shoes
  • 1 pair of shower shoes
  • 1 belt
  • 1 refillable water bottle
  • Hygiene products (must be unopened and no alcohol)
  • Tweezers, nail clippers
  • Hair clippers
  • Blow dryer
  • Hair straightener
  • 1 mp3 player (without Wi-Fi capability)
  • 5 Factory sealed tobacco (5 pack of cigarettes, 5 cans of dip or 1 disposable vape)


Important notes:

  • Cellphones are permissible but not allowed during phase one. If cellphone is brought with client, it will be securely stored until client is completed with phase one.
  • Makeup is not allowed during phase one and will not be stored by Woodhaven.
  • Clients will be permitted to have makeup dropped off once client is completed with phase one.
  • All clothing must be tasteful and appropriate. They must be the right size and length and not overly revealing. They also should have no drug or alcohol references, gang affiliations, or sexually graphic logos.
